I am leaving tomorrow to Europe to escape the Melbourne winter,so in the next few months paperplaneslmc might turn into a bit of a travel blog . I will also be posting work but not as frequently. If anyone has any tips on places I am going to I would love to hear them! x

Last Friday I was lucky enough to be invited to the super chic Tiffany & Co Collins street store to attend the LMFF 2012 National Designer awards. The 5 talented young designers who were competing for a prize worth more than $75,000 were Magdalena Valevska ,Michael Lo Sordo, Above Label , Lui Hon, and the winner, Christopher Esber. They displayed thier amazing designs on models who walked around the party.
The famous jewelers also used this event to launch their new range called Rubedo 1837. The new collection marks the 175th birthday of Tiffany & Co. This stunning new metal combines the best parts of Silver, Gold and Copper to create a beautiful Rose gold, which is a extremely on trend right now. My favourite piece from the collection is the Tiffany 1837 cuff, see below..
